Garden Chemical Series: Chromosomal Translocation
This series of animations walks us through the complex molecular processes from the moment one is exposed to the harmful airborne chemical to the development of life-threatening cancer. In this full-scale animation, the process is visualized and described as:
Chromosomal Translocation
Chromosomal translocation is when the round up bound lymphocytes travel and store in bone marrow and cause varying types of genetic damage that lead to changes in gene expression leading to cancerous growth.
There are numerous other ways harmful airborne chemicals (in the case of People v. Monsanto) have been reported to cause cancer. Here are the other examples in the animation series:
1. Chemical Garden Sprayer
2. Absorption through Dermis
3. Oxidative Stress
4. Macroglobulinemia (IgM)
