The defendant was stopped behind the plaintiff at the intersection, and when the traffic light turned green, he sporadically and recklessly accelerated the truck forward, slamming into the back of the plaintiff’s vehicle. The plaintiff sustained multiple injuries to her shoulder, neck, and lower back.
